I'm feeling so proud of both of you for harnessing the power of Ning and TalkShoe- for good - in such a short time.
If I had just one medical society that had the combined chutzpah-
(Chutzpah can be used to express admiration for non-conformist but gutsy audacity. One common English adaptation of "chutzpah" is "hoodspa", which has a mostly positive connotation. Leo Rosten in The Joys of Yiddish defines chutzpah as "gall, brazen nerve, effrontery, incredible 'guts,' presumption plus arrogance such as no other word and no other language can do justice to." In this sense, chutzpah expresses both strong disapproval and a grudging admiration. One example given of the ultimate of chutzpah is: "A boy, having just been convicted of murdering his parents, begs the judge for leniency because he is an orphan."[1])
-of you two dynamos, we'd be having soooo much more fun-- and be getting so much MORE DONE. Roz, I think with you at the interviewing helm and Bernie with hands on control central, I predict a glowing future for the 'Cancer Rocks! Internet Radio Show'.
Again, there are numerous Talkshoe Producers to learn from- I like the guy who does '
Tail of The Whale'-
description: Talk about the Ning platform. Like a whale, at first sighting, you only see a tiny part of Ning. Listen and join to learn more.-
myself, because not only is he a very experienced radio host, but you also get to learn more about all things 'Deep Ning'. Keep it up! I predict GREAT things IF you find a way to consistanly compile 100-150 of these 1/2 hour interviews. "There are no shortcuts to any place worth going." - Beverly Sills.
So those of you out there, who may just be finding Cancer Rocks!- answer me this?
What's the ingredient(s) in every effort that elicits the response, "Nice Work?"
I say one necessary ingredient is "chutzpah." What would you add?
Rock on!
bestx3,
bt
